America has voted their Top 9, with 28 million votes, the result has been decided.
Curtis Finch Jr., 24, was eliminated on "American Idol" tonight, silencing a spirited, church-driven voice that wowed the judges in the early rounds.(overrated..)
His behavior in early stage has voted people out, but his unmemorable rendition of Fantasia's "I Believe" Wednesday night was the nail in the coffin.
"Brother Curtis," as Keith Urban called him, could do well in the gospel genre, singing his heart out to fellow church-lovers. I don't see him doing much more than that.
"Idol" introduced a new wrinkle into the chopping process, revealing how America voted from top to bottom.
An unordered list of the Top 3 was revealed as to not leak the top dog, and then the lesser vote-getters in order from fourth through tenth place, with #10 hitting the road.
"Idol" has never been much for revealing vote rankings, and for good reason. It takes away some of the mystery. Previously, if someone wasn't voted off, they could have been first or seventh in votes and no one would know.
HOW AMERICA VOTED
• Candice Glover (top 3)
• Kree Harrison (top 3)
• Angie Miller (top 3)
4. Lazaro Arbos
5. Amber Holcomb
6. Janelle Arthur
7. Burnell Taylor
8. Paul Jolley
9. Devin Velez
10. Curtis Finch Jr. (eliminated)
I already thought about this, seriously..
This dude can only went through Top 10 just because of the judges.
Based on twitter followers (Although we can not estimate just because of that) he is among the less followers.
Well good job America,..(and judges, since you all didn't save him...)
Angie, Candice and Kree got the Top 3 (although based on performance I like Amber better than Kree).
This year as many people has spoken, is the year of the girls.
